When you pursue the Master of Veterinary Science degree, you become a graduate student at Illinois. Admissions Requirements (For online and on-campus MVS programs)

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any field
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission. Our admissions team is looking for evidence of academic ability and writing skills, as well as indications of past performance and future potential in your career.

Application Process

You must upload all required materials to the Graduate College Application for submission:

  • Unofficial transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
  • Resume
  • Academic Statement of Purpose
  • Three (3) letters of reference
  • Application fee
